Before Meara leave’s Springfield she stops at the local flower shop. In hopes for finding a centerpiece that makes her room pop. Mellan is walking out as Meara is walking in. Meara is kind in holding the door for him. Mellan is stuck for a moment on the beauty of her eyes. Wishing he was the one holding the door for her; this should come as no surprise. His mom raised him right and from the very start he’s learned. A woman’s heart is a treasure. One the mustn’t be burned. “Good day!” Meara says to awestruck Mellan. “Good day to you; what a beautiful morning!” Meara loves the bouquet of flowers that he’s carrying in hand. “Yes these are for a room I’ve redone.” “For a special guest arriving from flatland.” “Well they’re just beautiful” “a perfect finishing touch!” “I’m sure your special guest will appreciate them very much!” They say their goodbyes but before Meara leaves, she’s craving something sweet; to her surprise she spots a sweet maple treat! “Mmmmm; boy does that hit the sweet spot”! Meara read up on maple syruping in Vermont. My two characters don’t know it yet but their paths will cross again; How will it turn out? Some writers love to keep you guessing!
