WATER

Black_Bird

Water

With depth and density that nobody truly knows.

Like the newborn black bird with the oldest soul.

Being a force of nature and a power in many forms;

The invitation into my waters is an opportunity to be restored.

Energy shifting abilities; Desired and thirst-quenching...

Becoming a necessity like the air that keeps you breathing,

Dive in and you’ll see me.

The calmest body of water bringing you solace and peace

Yet, any disruption can easily turn into destruction – of everything in reach.

Sometimes without warning

Never with intention

The water is Mine...but

Who calms the storm within me?

With unstoppable force and without remorse; the damage is done.

The sun reflects and we forgive.

Soon the desire resurfaces to be restored by my water again.

    Feels erotic and also feels reflecting… the many different ways water can reflect in art. Great poem
