Arrival in Quechee

GenXer Shamrocker ☘️

Meara is just a few minutes late as she made a few special stops along the way. Hoping to bring out the very best of Vermont is all she hopes to accomplish during her stay. She’s reminded of how Mellan referred to someone like her. “Seeing all these beautiful mountains,” “it’s no wonder he calls us flat landers.” She parks in the driveway to a pleasant surprise! A beautiful German Shepherd seems to have caught her eye! “King, get back here boy.” “Let the lady unload her truck.” “I’m sorry ma’am.” “He’s awfully friendly.” Once again Mellan’s awestruck! Now he remembers calling this woman a flatlander. He’s hoping she’s forgotten as he goes to help her. “You!” She says with a surprising tone! “I thought I recognized your voice when you spoke with me on the phone!” “Meara!” “It’s nice to meet you!” “Allow me to show you inside!” “Lead the way Mellan!” She says with a gleam in her eyes! Finally my writer meets the man she’ll be writing about. Want to know more about Mellan? Me too; stay tuned and you’ll find out!!
