Old Iron-Aged

Mutley Ravishes

Creaks and groans

Dry skin and bones

Old age, some say

Yet, I`ve seen

Octogenarians move

With fluid grace

Three days spent

In a grave

Came out surfing

A mighty wave

Does a dragon

Ever age?

Poetic lines that left me smiling. I have felt many of these things myself and age is something that one needs to laugh at not cry with. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks, Soren. Yes indeed, laughter, not tears. And certain folks in the Orient have showed us how to keep the body supple, strong, and vital, without "creeks and groans," until the end of our present sojourn on earth. After, what 60 years or so of these arts being in the West, I often wonder why so many people still believe that old age = pain, sickness, weakness, rigidness etc. BOLLOCKS TO THAT!!
