Notice of absence from NinjaGirl
Hi everyone! I have been gone for a while, I don’t know if any of you all have noticed, but I apologize for not leaving a notice anyway. I will be gone for a while. I am not done writing poetry, and I have not given up. But I will be away for some time. I expect to return around 2028. Not sure if any of you guys will see this, but thank you for reading my poetry. Please do not worry, I will be okay! I look forward to returning!

i thought
id feel peace
all at once
but instead
i get pieces
here and there
with my friends
doing silly things
i feel a piece of peace then

And so it is with life we learn in pieces we feel in pieces we grow in pieces. A philosophical poem.
“I feel a piece of peace then”
Perhaps peace is not a “whole” but rather given in pieces. Maybe the idea of “peace” as one giant feeling isn’t what it actually is.
