If I die in my sleep
If I was to die in my sleep,
would I be able to ride the sheep?
The ones that we count at night,
the ones in our closed eyes sight.
Would I be able to jump the moon?
Like the cow that ran from the spoon.
Easily see the pin in the hay.
Understand what the 5 ducks say.
Would I be a-tisket in a-tasket,
or the lunch in a red capers basket?
Could I drink from the little teapot?
Put a pad down for humpies falling spot?
If I was to die while counting the sheep,
would the nursery rhymes let me sleep?
Thoughts on a string
If I live in a string, my life is restricted.
If the string is real, then it is depicted.
Sciences theory, one thought by humans,
existing in the strings protected lumens.
If everything is made up of energies spark.
If I am to live electrically in a string so stark.
Then I must be living statically real.
If so, it’s something I neglect to feel.
If I was to leave the strings inner side,
would I be on a different strings ride?
Would I dissipate and fade as I leave?
Is a string even something to believe?
Why sun?
Why sun, are you so far from my view?
Why does the moon share the sky with you?
Is there a reason you run from its side,
a reason together you never confide?
Why sun, do you shine so bright?
Why does your heat cool at night?
Is there a reason the moon is so cold,
a reason there is a difference to behold?
Why sun, are you alone in our solar space?
Why are no planets near your central place?
Is there a reason you pushed them all away,
a reason the planets stay out of your way?
Why sun, do I have so many questions of you?
Why do I want to hear your point of view?
Is there a reason your wisdom is unknown,
a reason your knowledge is never shown?
Why only one?
Why just you sun?

These are all great poems. They are fun to read and have a child like quality to the questions in their innocence and simplicity they hold a complexity and philosophical depth nicely written.
