Red umbrella on a puddle

Caring dove

A red umbrella softly sits

like a group of petals without the company of another flower

she softly sits on a blue puddle in the rain

collecting pieces from the helpless sky

and they sit for a while

falling

being there

with the sadness or light joy from the sky

flower on the blue puddle sits softly

strongly

pieces from the sky falling

yet there’s no other flower by her side

space below her is calming

like a soft sea

with truth too

is she ok on the puddle

or would she rather be on the grass

closer to others like herself

Dear Rose, this is beautiful sad because I feel the red umbrella is lonely in metaphor. A wonderful art and a lovely piece of writing. 🌹
