Crescent Morning

rebellion_in_sanity

A crescent morning
With an unfulfilled Sun
Day drags on
No cheers, no crying
Listless movements
Boundless energy of depression

Curtain falls on the day
Moon hesitant on the sky
Like an uninvited guest
Not sure whether to stay
Or to walk away

Surefooted night
Conquers all
No embellishments
No false sense of beauty
Poignant in stark and raw
It's the pitch black sun

Let's love the night
Let's forget the Sun
Day blinds us all
With false promises
Binds us in elusive hope
Night sings Freedom

I love to feel of this poem. It has some sense of darkness to it, but at the same time as feelings of hope.
