let's kill it

rin

Hototogis,If it won't sing, let's kill it

Hototogis,If it won't sing, let's make it sing

Hototogis,If it won't sing, let's wait until it does

Hototogis,If it won't sing, I won't sing either

I am a hototogis

What to do if the (lesser) cuckoo won’t sing. Don’t put it in a cuckoo-clock for sure!

Good write, Rin. You don't want it to sing— reaper is listning. Well unless you want to plant some rice.

I don't mind because what I feel I have to do and what they force me to do are two different things. But I like the friendliness you convey in your last sentence.

at first, I thought this was more cuckoo than a Bavarian clock .. but on reflection, I think it say's much more than the average cuckoo and it appears rather clever & I keep coming back to it .. .. Tōkō shite itadaki arigatōgozaimasu .. Neville

In Japan, Korea, and China, it was customary to keep Lesser Cuckoo in bird cage. This is an old history.

I have a deep personal interest in such history & culture .. in particular, that of Japanese 😎👍
