A cat comes in the house
all in black and white
with a little friendly face
and a black coat
shining softly like the moon
she sits on the sofa
walks on the kitchen tops
walking around , sitting where she wishes
politely purring at us all with a little voice
that seems shy and kind
always gentle in tone
making herself at home here
she seems ok in this house
and I think she likes those that live here too
a cat in the house with a little friendly face
and a purr that’s so small
quiet and gentle
her coat shining like the moon

Awww! How precious! We have two cats at home, two dogs, and a visiting ground hog, I’ve named Wally! 😂 And we love visiting cats too! Wonderfully write!
Never had any pets but I love that cats come to the house .. they are both lovely . We call one of them ‘ boots ‘ and the other one ‘Smokey ‘ I don’t know what their real names are
