Broken threads

arial

I saw her smiling so beautifully today

That the hate I burned became ashes of sway

The heart wanted to race the lips arched away

The eyes just blinked admiring the pretty haze

For once I wish I could  meet her again

Not the girl I knew but the friend I made

We will laugh we will talk and I would hug her and say

Oh I missed you so much where were you these days ?

Someone took your place and she was so mean and fake

But she looked  just like you I couldn't comprehend the mistake

Upon hearing my say she would hug me and cry

Love I am not going anywhere and I will be with all the way

Alas it ends here my story and my relay

Cause the past I once cherished

Is too far gone for my stay
