assisted dying

jim56

should we have the right to die.  let our suffering cease
allow assisted dying so we can die in peace
the agony and pain we suffer.  everyday single day
with assisted dying we could take it all away

they should pass the bill  when lifes gets hard to bare
and your choice to die will be always there
then we can end our life do it legally
from our pain and suffering at last we will be free

Very topical write Jim. I’m stuck on the fence for fear that allowing this would be open to pressure on the elderly and their abuse. I need more info. No one wants to see a loved one die in pain either, that would be horrendous. Dignity is paramount. Hope you have a lovely day today Jim. You express yourself here with deep concern.

Maybe your mood is lower than usual? Thinking about you Jim? My brother died from cancer. I was with him. Palliative care isn’t as good as it should be and it is really distressing, I know. No Chrustmss shopping yet. Got to watch the money now Starner is after pensioner’s wealth 😀

Writing is good therapy. Loss of loved ones brought me into writing. Keep writing, it helps Jim. Concentrates the mind, and the fresh air helps too.

I am a supporter of euthanasia, but only if one is honest and shares it with those they have relationships with because one’s death affects more than one self. Very nicely written, Jim

I once wanted this so bad...but what person would help another give up? what kind of person would you be to quit so easily, take the easy route out? dying is easy, living is not. your purpose is more profound than a short ending

Very emotive subject, Pro and cons on both sides, a subject that should be debated with an open mind. Good read

I do believe in assisted dying. My dog got old and was in so much pain and I told how utterly cruel I was if I didn 't put him to sleep, I never could understand how putting a dog to sleep when in pain is the humane thing to do yet, make ppl suffer with theirs. Especially if the person is termaboll anyway. They should not be made to suffer as well as die with dignity. Nice read1

there are many agree and dont agree
we have to let the people who suffer
have there final say a hard decision to make
for everyone thankyou for your comment
