You can't look at the sun
Look at it in a silent pond,
A pristine water mirror
Reflects the sky, in a perfect daze
The water's calm, and cool
the sun in it a soothing sight
A haven for the soul,
in the still of heart.

In the silent pond,
Looking at the brilliant sun
I find a sense of peace
A world of wonder,
that my soul can't release
The water's calm, and purity
reminds me of life's essence
A gentle reminder,
to let go the false self
and let the true self glow.
