I cannot see your purpose,
I cannot know what you have vowed;
I feel miles away, somehow
try over and over, still cannot conceive
why you continue this way.
I cannot see love before me,
no continuity nor grievances relieved.
I could maybe touch something real
but the price is so much more than I can pay.
What we have been told so many times about time
is a foolish lie, bells that never actually ring;
more likely time quietly, gradually resigns
without healing one single thing.

Quite possibly the most written about subject since time began to be counted .. I feel sure I know where you are coming from .. Neville π
I must agree. Having choked reading through the first half. Letting out the truth letβs me breathe again ππ»
Something i feel has touched us all at some time, enjoyed the read
Here I hear the frustration and hopelessness of a situation. This is a poem of darkness. Nicely written, it conveys its feeling well.
