Remember this December

Vishakha

The air of December stays between nostalgia and change

For some memories to reminisce and for those ones coming to gain

The footprints, reminding us the direction of that one lane

Once, where, there was a tree, standing still, covering us up from the summer rays

This new season, filling the void, even though, cold, but keeping me alive

December is blooming something inside me, maybe myself for the upcoming day

The year ahead, a new one, staying, waiting for me, has something to say
