Describing an often overused emotion
Perhaps only oversimplified by some
Yet rarely understood by the masses
Failing to see where it springs from
Not to be held by the weak nor the fool
To know passion is to know sacrifice
Though possessors can still suffer fear
For what it brings you would gladly die
Once the seeds of passion are planted
They will be nurtured with everything you are
An understanding will begin to form
No forever can now be that far
Passion is multi-dimensional
Mere words can’t explain its depth
Not to be defined, explained or visualized
Too much remaining will be left
Passion is at least love, strength and courage
It is these and then so much more
For the passionate their reason for living
Without this what would they live for
True passion is a trait of only the brave
Without it they would be empty and lost
For passion drives them to do what they must
Outsiders can never know the cost
They are driven by honor and love
These few will stand up to what’s wrong
They don’t have a choice in their actions
They will never go along to get along
