…….A angry little man with a misunderstanding, can’t see our gods, our devils as purposeful plannings, our own fears, our own tears is some of what we’re manning; it ain’t just the world out there, but the universe inside that the short big breasted Ole lady in church is fanning, it ain’t just what we need it’s what we want just look at white people tanning, the universe inside can be more demanding,  it’s the realization and acknowledgment of both that will enhance our plannings.

This poem was clever and its rhyme scheme while at the same time in parting a bit of wisdom. Very nicely done.

"the universe inside can be more demanding." Great line (and the title, too). I've been thinking lately that the "devils" inside are the truly demanding ones, and not The Creator!

Thanks, and yes the devil and other portions of our minds are most/more cunning to itself than to others
