Looking at the moon

Caring dove

Here’s a girl softly dressed in pink

sitting next to a cat made of the evenings sky 

their both lightly looking at the daisy Like moon 

looking at a bright balance 

And a circle of peace , shining 

in a soft pastel purple sky 

 

theirs A peaceful pretty light 

and a beautiful balance in the proud purple sky 

both gazing at the colours 

like a field of bluebells and daisy flowers in the daytime sky 

 

maybe parts of the earth are with the sky 

reminding them of those friendly flowers 

standing on the colour green in spring and summer

                I had never heard of the word ‘ ekphrasis ‘ before now ..

                Yeah I do like writing poems inspired by pictures .. it’s nice , and it helps if I’m s stuck and unsure of what to write about
