The Changes After 2020?

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

People in general no longer look happy,
More like angry with lockdown PTSD.
The care for others has evaporated,
Spiking up is more and more hatred.
Some have awakened,
Spotting the signs of the hidden hand.
Most are still silently asleep,
Living for the end of the week.
Segregation, Separation and desperation rule,
The government hate us, that's why they're so cruel.
Arrested for some memes and retweets,
What the hell happened to free speech?
They continue dividing and conquering,
These western rulers are worse than Ming.
Merciless actions ramp up the worry and fear,
Don't let them crush your soul, I see it all clear.
The changes after 2020?
You already know there has been plenty,
We all soldier on, trying to ignore what's deadly.

Yes, a sort of year of nothingness, was 2020.

I can only agree. A clue too is how our referring to time seems off by 2 years, like something has been buried deep so deep but a dear little plant is not asleep…
