Trust and You Shall Find

rebellion_in_sanity

Thoughts imprisoned
Dark cave buried in mind
Feelings wither, fortress of silence
Faithless in mankind

Milk of Kindness, pipe dream
Empty words, hollow gestures
True friend never to be seen

Friendless, faithless
Disdain, despise spices of life
Momentary spark of trust, then
Float away in molten magma of deceit and lies

Fortify walls around heart
Put guards at each door
Feelings are banned
Existence in icy cold

Stones don't feel pain
It's true sign of life
Banished pain
Choked living out of life

Looking at the winter Sun
Frozen ground beneath feet
Sun wants to thaw
Ice wants to remain
Impossibles DO exist

Perhaps it is Faith
A friend from the start
Let him rejuvenate dead heart

Faith holds the Key
Step into kingdom of hope
Drink your fill, elixir of life
Have trust and you shall find

Thoughts like echoes in a cave resound until the next one arrises and drowns it out. A lovely series in one poem
