I want to read a poem that screams save me.
of a certain someone who wants to be free.
tired of being broken numerous times.
give me a poem where one gives love another chance,
perhaps the kind where she is caught in a lovers dance.
i want to feel the sorrow burried so deep in that heart.
I want to make it my own,
appreciate the art as I feel it’s tone.
I want to experience the battle scars from that tragic past,
the ugly sides of life.
the ugly sides of us.
as mortal beings who hate on others,
Who hurt others to satisfy our own desires.
give me that poem,
i want to know whose heart is broken.
what did love do this time?
did the one you love most leave you?unexpectedly did love find you?
have you found joy in that one person?
who has made you lose all sense of reason
let me read that one poem,
Let me hear, whose life is spiralling.
who feels as though they are cursed?
whose heart is filled with deep yearning?
i want them all diversely versed,
smooth and layered with rhymes.
I don't mind historical or the current times,
I want to feel how then love made people feel butterflies.
how now it’s all toxic, no longer a simplistic fairytale.
its no longer the tale between the princess and the frog,
the men were dethroned from kings to dogs.
give me that poem.
i want to hear you talk about the people you call home,
those who make your heart feel known.
.
that’s the truth they realise

Love it
Thank you
You're welcome
I find your poetry very powerful and a bit dark at times, interesting and enjoyable read ( not enjoyable because someone is suffering, the poetry itself.
I seldom find two poems in a row that I feel worthy of Favs but you have captured this in this poem and the last. A poem comes from the heart and I feel it in this one and the last. This one becomes art in its ability to bring this feeling with its words pleading for a poem to do just that. Lovely
