Dark waters

Brian Otucho

We sail in dark waters

So cold we’re frozen into our bones

We stay, sons and daughters

On our way that fades

into the unknown

First there was heartache and sorrow

but then there was hope

Leaving the ground that we’ve stood

on has made us grow strong

And all of the sisters and brothers we lost

won’t be gone,

won’t be forgotten

We don’t know what is ahead

but the show must go on

We run in wild forests

Chasing the treasures that we have lost

Nothing can stop us

Fighters right from the day we were born

First there was heartache and sorrow

but then there was hope

Leaving the ground that we’ve stood

on has made us grow strong

And all of the sisters and brothers we lost

won’t be gone,

won’t be forgotten

We don’t know what is ahead

but the show must go on

And all of the sisters and brothers we lost

won’t be gone,

won’t be forgotten

We don’t know what is ahead

but the show must go on
