So many people in this world,

But you’re the only one I see.

And when I need you by my side,

It feels like you’re nowhere round.

I only wish to feel your warmth,

To know I’m not alone.

But even with your love so close,

It feels like I’m on my own.

It’s not your fault; I know you care,

Yet the silence can feel so loud.

I just wish you could always be here,

To remind me - I’m not on my own.
