swimming through sand

NinjaGirl

think think think

but I cant

its a brick wall in my head

impossible

those tiny pieces of glass

cut me

while I try to fight and swim

to the surface

its so hard to push against

all this sand

They say that if one finds oneself in quicksand one should swim. Very nicely written this poem of frustration and pain. I can feel it in the words and the effort as if walking into the face of a hurricane. It is this feeling that I get from it that makes it a work of art

thank you, yes it is chaotic like a hurricane

Yes...indeed...good to not be alone! Struggling sucks...but struggling alone: The. Worst. You are welcome, dear friend!
