Blackbird

Caring dove

I see a blackbird

Brightly clear outside the window

a blackbird , nights sky with just a speck of yellow

shining near to her voice

where her voice lives lightly

and she sings whenever she wishes

like the nights sky

yet shining so softly

appearing so soft with a small speck of yellow light

living near to her voice

her beak , a lovely little sunshine yellow

living in the outside green world

with the berries outside the window

Beautiful words here. We have blackbirds in our garden. They sing beautifully and never fail to cheer me up with their song. A lovely poem for a Wednesday morning. Thank you Caring dove.

I see her in full view thanks to your descriptive poem. Well done friend. The desire to be free like a birdโ€ฆ(who knows how they feel about themselves) comes through in this for me. Love this observational piece. AgIn, well done! ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘ Faved!

Indeed, they are! Black is beautiful. Blackbirds...ravens...black cats (now the birds fly away...lol). Anyway, you are welcome my friend! Nature is a wonderful muse!

            • Caring dove

I donโ€™t like ravens or crows .. yeah , nature is inspiring .

Ah...fair enough...they're my fave. Something do do with death and Edgar Allan Poe. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿฆโ€โฌ› And I find them beautiful...if not obnoxiously loud! LOL!

                • Caring dove

They can be quite loud , yeah

Blackbirds seem to be nicer , ..

Most familiar description of an image branded in many of our brains. I have seen this on so many occasions. Wonderfully described it leaves the thought of metaphor as well. The birds parallel with the night is well done and the meaning of the separation of the pain of glass between the author, and the bird is most interesting.

Yes , sometimes I feel that divide between me and other things .. but not always .

Itโ€™s always nice to see or hear birds tho ..

                              Thankyou
