Empty thought

Maplespal

Empty thought

What words are on my mind,

which ones can I trip over and find?

What subject is in my scattered view,

what activities in there are there to do?

My mind seems empty, has a lot of room,

all the dirt, cobwebs, and broken broom,

left laying waiting to be noticed, seen.

Hoping for a sound to intervene.

Allow a breeze through the door,

blow the dirt around the floor,

create a view for my minds thought,

let me find the words I’ve sought.

Sitting, waiting for an echo within,

looking for a worded message to spin.
