- Comment from author about the poem: Customer service is bad whenever you can’t genuinely help the customer… she kept begging and all I could do was look and say no. I feel terrible. I need to speak to my manager there has to be more we can do.

Trapped in the middle between customer and management. A terrible place to be. A bleeding heart and powerless. A great senyru
I let my manager know my feelings, fortunately he supported me in making decisions that hurt the company but helps the people which ultimately I feel like helps the company… thanks for your response

Terrible on either side of the negotiating. Hope it works out for you and all concerned. It can be a nightmare for employees who are trapped by this. Been there, it still bothers me at times.
