Lighthouse

Brian Otucho

I'm all alone out on the oceans,

Darkness all around since the sun went down,

Is it you I see in the horizon

On the distant shore far away up north?

Oh, won't you shine on me?

Like a sailor lost at sea,

I've been drifting helplessly,

I need a lighthouse

Oh, won't you guide the way?

Make a passing through the waves,

tell me everything's okay,

I need a lighthouse shining over me.

Shining over me,

shining over me,

I need a lighthouse,

Shining over me,

shining over me,

I need a lighthouse shining over me.

I lost direction on the waters,

Traveled in the blind with the storm inside,

Was I even ready for departure?

'Cause I need your light

You're like a candle in the night.

Oh, won't you shine on me?

Like a sailor lost at sea,

I've been drifting helplessly,

I need a lighthouse,

Oh, won't you guide the way?

Make a passing through the waves,

Tell me everything's okay

I need a lighthouse shining over me

Shining over me,

Shining over me,

I need a lighthouse,

Shining over me,

Shining over me,

I need a lighthouse

Oh, won't you shine on me?

Like a sailor lost at sea,

I've been drifting helplessly

I need a lighthouse

Oh, won't you guide the way?

Make a passing through the waves,

tell me everything's okay

I need a lighthouse shining over me.
