This girl was always tired but could never sleep,

Always felt alone but it was never that deep,

Tried to speak up but she was never heard,

Had a lot of thoughts but never said a word,

Loved food but she could never eat,

Thought about disappearing but her heart wouldn’t miss a beat,

Always writing but was never understood,

Tried to reach out but never could,

Her overthinking was always right, 

She would stay up crying till the depths of night,

Felt lonely but was never alone,

Never found a place in her own home,

Always fighting never tough,

Dreaming of the moments when she would feel like enough.
