Words

vividvoid14

A guns not dangerous.

People are.

Bullets can kill

But so can words

Words are engraved Into your brain.

Words cause these never healing wounds

That bleed pain.

Words, pound you to the ground.

Even when your stable you fall

Words impact your peace

Words block endorphins from being released

Words, kill.

With no evidence.

Words can be a defense.

But hurt's so much more when in offense

Words....

And the amazing things they do to us

A quite stark reminder of the power of our tongue if used wrongly, but it also has the power to do so much good, Enjoyable read.

Words can be lethal as can people at times. It takes a person to pull the trigger. It takes a person to be vitriolic with their words. Nicely conveyed. Keep writing.

Thank you! I have a question
Can you challenge me? Give me 3 words and a topic I'll use it to write my next poem

              • Cassie58

You could try three words I used in my response. Lethal, Vitriolic, Trigger. Find a dark theme:)
