Regrets

mortal357

I-
I knew we would go down to the wire,
Now it’s giving in or let it die.

All these thoughts, hunting me,
memories, on repeat,
All the love has gone to waste.
With my heart, on a wire,
running out of goodbyes,
Burned the bridges all behind.

Regrets are too late-
Memories, on repeat, all the love,
Regrets are too late-
Running out of goodbyes,
Regrets are too late.
Regrets are too late.

Blind and foolish I went all in, I-
How could you only love the fire?

All these thoughts, hunting me
memories, on repeat
All the love has gone to waste
With my heart, on a wire
running out of goodbyes
Burned the bridges all behind

Regrets are too late
Memories, on repeat, all the love
Regrets are too late
Running out of goodbyes, oh oh oh
Regrets are too late
Regrets are too late

Regrets are too late
Memories, on repeat, all the love
Regrets are too late
Running out of goodbyes,

I knew we would go down to the wire...
