Sometimes you can feel like a flower
struggling to connect
or without many words from others
you can feel like a flower , sighing
no words appear
lost for words
a sense of divide lingers
like the green grass from the blue sky
or a flower removed from the moon
distanced
distant
different
feeling like your in your own world
at a distance
Wishing to feel you can connect

Oh that is quite the metaphor. It can be frightful to imagine what ‘cut flowers’ could represent. But perhaps that’s reading a bit far.
I just mean .. feeling a distance from people . Yeah it’s just how I’ve been feeling tiday .. distant from myself and from others . I sometimes get the feeling that o kind of invisible around people ..
Thanks for the comment tho
That sense of isolation and solitude. Very nicely written
Thankyou ) yeah I think it was probably my dissociation , aswell as people not taking much notice earlier .. and missing people .
Thanks for the kind comment
Wow! You express your inner emotions so well and, truthfully my friend, this poem is relatable! Well done! 👏
Thankyou .. that sense of distance can feel difficult and can feel sad . Appreciate your comment
An expressive write dove.
Dear Caring dove, there is a real vulnerability in your words. Flowers are delicate. I felt a sense of isolation here. Hope you feel better soon.
Thankyou Cassie ) yeah sometimes I feel a sense of feeling ‘ small and even a bit awkward and shy around people sometimes . Sometimes I can also find it hard to talk to people if I feel dissociated
It’s difficult when we feel we can’t connect to the people around us .. for whatever reason
A really touching
and poignant write indeed! 😢
