Life's Sacred, Beautiful Gift

Mohammad younus koul

Life is a sacred, beautiful gift,
Too precious to waste, too fleeting to drift.
Entrusted to us on this earthly plane,
Let our religion be peace, not disdain.

Harmony, coexistence—our sacred creed:
To live and let live, free from greed.
Shunning the shackles of vain desire,
That pull us from truth and lift us no higher.

May we resist the ego’s endless chase,
Goals that exploit or bring disgrace.
Instead, embrace each breath as divine,
A chance to love, to heal, to align.

Let us sow seeds of empathy and care,
Building a world of kindness to share.
Open your heart to humanity's pain,
Meet their anguish with joy, not disdain.

Why squander gratitude on fleeting delight,
Or let past wounds steal today’s light?
With mindful purpose, choose your days,
To follow divine and meaningful ways.

Become an instrument of sacred grace,
Fulfilling your duty in time’s brief embrace.
