The ridicule, The games.

They cause pain.
Yet time can heal.
The arguments, The attacks.
The knife in the back.
They hurt.

The put downs, The dishonesty.
The days of constant misery.
They hurt.
They cause pain.
Yet time can heal.
The abuse, The cheating.
The constant deceiving.
They hurt.
They cause pain.
Yet time can heal.
My heart that I gave.
That you threw away.
That hurt.
That caused pain.
Time cannot heal.
The pain will stay.

That brought me to a choice, a summation that should we choose it, Time could bring about a distancing that could parallel healing. The other choice stands as well. Sometimes to remain wounded is for some the only way to feel something ever again.

I enjoyed my visit here today .. and before I go on, just wanted to let you know that ..
