The Snake that Eats its Own Tail

vicecream

Once in a while,

I hear the phrase “time isn’t real”

I’ve even said it myself.

Maybe; for man-made are the minuscule measurements of minutes and millennia

But the relentless unfurling of the infinite moment/s

that is somehow always new

yet never really began

is as real as the fact that

we can’t ever go back

And we can’t ever stand still

Ouroboros the circle of life in a snake devouring its tail, birth, life death. Although it is a circle we can never go back it is a new life. Nicely said and written

In Australia we have the hoop snake - imported, it would seem from the USA - another feral pest.
