The Jokes on you...

Eliaskayne

Shadows linger in the spaces between us. I tread lightly, weaving through the silence, careful not to disturb the fragile threads of connection that form us

the cracks began to show. People close to me, solid like mountains, began to shift, their loyalty crumbling like stone under time’s relentless hands. I watched as their warmth turned cold, as their promises broke like waves against the unyielding cliffs of my resolve.

They struck, thinking I’d shatter, thinking their absence would hollow me But they didn’t how I had prepared for this, how I had built myself from the ashes of storms beforye how I had learned to armor my heart in quiet, impenetrable ,safe

Their betrayal echoed loud, But it found no purchase in me. I stood, not broken, not bowed, watching their actions with the calmness of a fortress evaded by a passing storm.

And yet—oh, the ache remains, not for the wounds they thought they could inflict, But for what they lost in themselves. I am disappointed—not destroyed. Their fall does not drag me down, But it casts a shadow where light once was.

Still, I rise. I tower above the ruins, stronger, brighter, indifferent by there failings in the end I carry the fire they tried to put out, and like a flame shines my light shows me the path A force they will never understand.

Isn't it actually a good thing to feel cold? I think it's important to feel that.
