Bound in Triumph

Job Welime

Let the world know this,
if nothing else:
Even as we faltered, we flourished.
Even as we stumbled, we stood.
And in our weakest moments, we held on
not by the strength of unbroken hearts,
but by the courage to stay bound,
to rise victorious not because heartbreak avoids us,
but because we refuse to let outside forces divide us.

This is what love does.
It teaches us to dream of a life unshaken.
A world where you and I sit beneath the shelter of our own vine,
bask beneath the comfort of our shared sky,
and no fear no shadow can wedge its way between us.

If we are to honor this love we’ve been given,
then our triumph will never be in the walls we build,
but in the bridges we cross,
hand in hand, step by step.
Every step a promise.
Every glance a vow.
To hold.
To heal.
To be.

So let the world know:
It is not perfection that binds us.
No.
It is the beauty of choosing each other, again and again.
Choosing to love.
Choosing to stay.
For love’s greatest triumph isn’t found in never falling...
but in rising, together, every single time.
