Old Habits

Kerry

Wide awake:

It’s gone midnight.

Tummy is upset

Maybe due to the ridiculous quantity of crap

I’ve been eating.

And then there’s the beer.

Whose bright idea was it to buy a keg?

There are only two of us!

But, it tastes so damn good!

All that good weight

I walked off in HK

has slapped itself back on.

Thanks cheese, carbs and alcohol

you’ve been a great help too.

Oh well, January

and New Years Resolutions

are just around the corner

and, of course, I’ll be sticking to them.

Intentions are growing grass that is cut regularly and continually spreads untill it is filled with weeds. A very relatable write. Nicely written
