The Unseeming

It's apparent now 

Light is limited and 

Darkness is limitless

What need do I have of light? 

Why should I venture into the so called unknown 

In the eerie dark I hold sway 

I can hear your thoughts 

Your illumination led me to you

I see into your soul and I have control 

The ebbs and flow of life 

Aye your life 

It had nothing to do with me. 

For you see a mirror when you look at me

The within and Without 

I am forever 

In the vastness of darkness 

My essence is encompassing. 

I am what I am 

I shall endure for all eternity.
