Neariah and Neas have spent the entire day together. Trying to catch up on years apart while braving the brutal cold weather. Neas has brought Neriah to his Christmas Tree Farm. Reminiscing on days past; a nice way to keep warm! Neriah is astounded by how much Neas has taken on. She’s so proud of the man he has become! She filled him in on her big move and her next chapter. Neas is hopeful this will include him too; it’s her heart he’s after. Forgiving people for past mistakes; is one of life’s greatest gifts. Second chances, new/old friends; who wouldn’t appreciate this? Christmas time is much more than what’s underneath the tree. It’s about coming together in hard times; helping those who are lonely. A far fetched thought you say? Perhaps; I am a poet after all. That’s enough of that. Neriah and Neas will only grow closer from here. Merry Christmas to all you poets; and very Happy, Healthy, New Year!
