It's Christmas

RSM0812

Happy season, Time of year,

Presents, wishes Santa’s beard.

Bring the merry, bring them all,

To the joyous Christmas ball.

Music, peace, and happiness,

Joy and love and rhapsody.

Family hugs, and turkey dinner

Grandma’s stuffing is the winner.

Bring me gifts of glee,

Exactly what I need.

And I’ll give you too,

What makes you, you.

The most peaceful time of year,

Jingles heard beyond the cheer.

Of love as warm and dire.

As sitting by the fire.

A poem with the feel of the season and the joy and closeness it brings. A fun read and it was good to know that it was a joint effort making it more special
