Peace blooms first within the heart—
a quiet garden where—
no thorns of violence and terror grow,
no weeds of hatred and jealousy creep.
Look around you.
See the faces that differ—
in color, creed, and tongue—
yet beneath the surface,
rivers of the same light of life flow.
Are we not all leaves of one tree of life—
Whose branches reach towards the same light?
To build peace in the world,
we must plant it deep within our souls,
watering it with kindness, mercy, and love
tending it with forgiveness, and compassion
For how can hands stained with blood
shape a sanctuary?
How can tongues that curse, and spit venom—
summon the sweetness of peace and harmony?
Imagine—
a world where no heart trembles—
at the sound of violence,
where no child hides from the shadows—
of warplanes.
Imagine streets echoing not with cries,
but with songs of peace and love.
Would this not be the promised paradise—
unfurled upon the earth?
This is the great teaching—
brought by the Beloved of God—
the Last Prophet, Muhammad,
peace and blessings be upon him.
A message sown into the soil of every heart:
"Love one another.
For you will not enter the eternal garden
until belief blossoms within you,
and belief will not take root—
until love binds you together,
like the fragrance that lingers on every petal".
"Shall I show you the seed—
from which love springs?
Let peace be your greeting,
a soft wind that carries grace,
“As-salamu alaykum” – peace be with you.
Whisper it.
Let it ripple across the waters of humanity,
let it calm the storms of division.
Peace begins as a single drop—
let it rain until the whole earth—
shines like a garden in bloom.
