Your Love, My Everything.

Job Welime

Your smile?
It's my favorite sunrise, breaking through the darkest skies.
Your touch?
It's my calm, the stillness after a raging storm.
Your embrace?
That’s my safe haven, my fortress, my norm.
Your presence?
It’s a soothing balm, healing every scar, every harm.

And your laugh?
Oh, your laugh is music, a symphony of joy I’ve chased for so long.
Your love?
It’s magic, the kind that makes me whole, that keeps me strong.

With you, the world feels brighter,
Like every step leads to something higher.
Each moment, pure, raw, true
In your love, I’ve found a forever I never knew.

Your name?
It’s my favorite whisper, echoing in my soul.
Your eyes?
My favorite window, showing me a world I want to know.
Your heart?
It’s my greatest treasure, a chest of dreams untold.
Your words?
They’re my favorite poetry, every line dipped in gold.

But your love?
Your love is my ultimate adventure.
In your love, I’ve found everything I’ve ever dreamed of,
And so much more.

I loved the format that you chose for this poem. The alternating two or three words with the next line of explanation worked well and your rhyme was well done.
