As my heart feels heavy and my mind is full of chaos, I sit and I pray, and there he was, waiting for me.
I can cry, I can scream, I can tell him everything, and he listens.
He doesn't seem to be annoyed with me.
I keep blabbering words that come to me, words that don't even make sense, and he was still there, listening to me calmly.
He said he understands me even though I myself don't, and then he said he loves me and that he cares for me, and he will be there for me each and every time I call.
I was crying, not because I was in pain, but because even though I walked away from him, he never did.
He was waiting for me.
He knows me better than anyone around me. Now I was not crying, and there was peace in my head, for I know my father, my savior, my Lord, is with me.

- Comment from author about the poem: 2024 was like a rollercoaster for me .This year I cried the most , I was lost , I was terrified, I was sick , i missed home . I moved away from home for college and it's almost 2 years now . Mom said they will call me home next December haha . but the real achievement of this year is I felt god's presence in my life when I was so scared about my future my health and when I was overwhelmed he was there right with me .i got closer to him . whenever I felt sad or scared or whenever I wanted to cry . i told him each and everything even a Minor incident and he was there for me . Oh how great is his love for us. Even tho there were time when my faith got little weak and even tho i walked away from him he was still waiting for me ( not me crying while writing this ). I won't write long haha but just know that whenever you feel low , failed, hopeless talk to God he loves you like no other person. I Hope whoever reading this is in good health if not I pray to god for restoration in ur health and for ur healing. May God's grace love and kindness with with all of us ❤️🩹
