i.am.yours

Gloria Denise

do you even know how you possess me?

my thoughts

my moods

my words

my grooves

my curves

and my lines

all defined by your smile

how could the tamed be consumed by the wild?

haunting me

taunting me

caressing me

undressing me

a hope that has no guarantee

a plague of thoughts that we’re meant to be

a prison from which I don’t want to be free

this pain feels good, don’t you agree?
