The Tune (2 versions)

Abdullah123

The tune of the birds is not so sweet,
nor the buzz of the bees.
The hymn of the angels isn't so whole,
sweetest is the melody of the soul.

The sugar and nectar isn't so pure,
nor is the milk of the cow.
The glow of the stars isn't so whole,
purest is the melody of the soul.

The sky and earth isn't so wide,
nor is the ocean deep.
The universe shan't encompass whole,
widest is the melody of the soul

OR:

Neither earth nor sky embodied me,
neither star nor road did.
Neither wine nor honey could,
neither the music nor dance.

I am fluid, fluid beyond you-
beyond you- oh lustful earth.

Neither mountain could move me,
nor ocean or sea.
Neither angels could seize me,
nor djinn or bee.

I am fluid, fluid beyond you-
beyond you- oh lustful earth.

Only God could, and he did,
and he sent me to you.
Only God could, and he did,
You am I, and now I am you.

I am fluid, fluid beyond you-
beyond you- oh lustful earth.
This melody is not of creation,
it's the tune of the soul and hearth.

They are both most beautiful but if forced to choose it would be the second for it touched me deeper

Is it overflowing from within? That's wonderful.
