Voices in my head
Whispers stir up my restless mind,
Like murmuring shadows intertwined.
Soft echoes, yet profound,
A twister of thoughts, swirling all around!
A symphony of passion, burning hot and bold,
Bargening with past regrets I’ve bought and sold.
They interrogate me, urging me to comply,
Still pulling me from the bottom up, on high.
Making me question, what is right, what is wrong?
Yet gently calm me with a soothing song.
With painful memories again I must face,
Searching for my beloved one’s last embrace.
Tangled in a web of worry, lost in its maze of despair,
Sobering reminders of burdens too heavy to bear.
They taunt my conscience, shackle me with guilt,
Putting me on trial with the case, against me, they have built.
From chaos of noise, look, a reassuring one breaks through,
Leading me to higher ground, opening a clearer view.
Yes, I hear voices in my head,
My faithful companions through happiness and dread.
Like a fearless army, always ready to defend,
And my trusted advisors from beginning to the end!
