MIDNIGHT ANGEL

nephilim56

An angel unfurls
Its shimmering wings
Glistening white
Free of all sins.

As midnight it screams
To a blackened sky
She walks barefoot
An observing eye.

Silence it echoes
Sweet bitter pain
In its moment of solitude
The sky speaks a name.

Muffled not centred
Lost upon air
As light rain falls
She loosens her hair.

As black as this night
In midnights stare
The angel observes
Her beauty bare.

It whispers, caresses
Time in a daze
She dances with mystery
Upon an angels gaze.
