Take What`s Left

Poetic Licence

Take What’s Left

Why Don't You

Take What's Left.

Then

I have nothing left to give.

No

Talk or Do

No More

You Will Leave Me

So, I Cannot Be As

I Was before.

Sometimes it is best to get out and move on .. I presume things have improved since 1979 .. Neville

When one is deprived of all one has then it is an opportunity for a new beginning. What is painful at the time becomes a burning of the field for a new crop. Very emotive this poem and the feeling flows out of it

I know this feeling. I am sure the circumstances are different, but I know this feeling. Well expressed my friend! πŸŒΉπŸ‘

Such a life and such is life. We do what we can until we can’t. Much enjoyed experience in poetry not so much in actually.

An old write. I hope you are now in a much better place Tobani. When you reach rock bottom, the only way is up.
