Other suns

Other suns

I'm sitting looking into the stars,
looking at all the other suns,
keeping an eye on the one I'm from.

Knowing the past as before,
when it comes to planets more,
we will soon be needing one.

I often sit below the stars,
looking for my distant sun,
my planet dead,
no home in which to run.

Like you,
I'm trapped here.

We still find wonderment in the heavens, even when we know our days are numbered, it can't be helped. A very thought provoking write my friend.

Literally a message to all to take care of where we live and metaphorically as well to take care of our mental social and emotional world
